Gesundheit und Wohlergehen: Ein gesundes Leben für alle Menschen jeden Alters gewährleisten und ihr Wohlergehen fördern.

Gesundheit ist ein Menschenrecht! Jeder Mensch das Recht auf einen Lebensstandard, der Gesundheit und Wohlergehen gewährleistet. Zu einem solchen Lebensstandard gehören ausreichende und gute Nahrung, Kleidung, eine Wohnung, ärztliche Versorgung und die not-wendigen sozialen Leistungen.

Fragen die uns diese Woche beschäftigen:

•             Warum hat nicht jeder Mensch dieses Recht?

•             Was macht eine gute Gesundheit aus?

•             Was ist Wohlergehen?

•             Wie kann man Gesundheit und Wohlergehen fördern?

•             Globale Gesundheit: Impfgerechtigkeit oder Freigabe von Patenten um Impfstoffe herzustellen?

Ist es nicht die Aufgabe der Politik den Zugang zu guter medizinischer Versorgung, lebensrettenden Medikamenten, gesunder Ernährung, sauberes Wasser für alle zu gewährleisten?

Was ist mit Pandemien? Was haben wir aus der Covid 19 Pandemie gelernt in Bezug auf internationale Kooperation, Förderung Medizinischer Forschung und Bildung.

Health and well-being: Ensure a healthy life for all people of all ages and promote their well-being.

Health is a human right! Everyone has the right to a standard of living that ensures health and well-being. Such a standard of living includes sufficient and good food, clothing, housing, medical care and necessary social services.

Questions that concern us this week:

•             Why doesn't everyone have this right?

•             What constitutes good health?

•             What is well-being?

•             How can health and well-being be achieved?

•             Global health: vaccine equity or freeing up patents to make vaccines?

Isn't it the role of policy to ensure access to good health care, life-saving medicines, healthy food, clean water for all?

What about pandemics? What have we learned from the Covid 19 pandemic in terms of international cooperation, promotion of medical research and education?
